Whether you’re building a site from scratch or looking to change up the design of an existing site, or simply trying to stay up to date on current web trends, there are lots of web design blogs out there to give you the design inspo you’re looking for. Here are a list of our top six web design blogs to get you started.

1. Web Designer Depot

Web Designer Depot features a variety of content about design and beyond. Check out their article on design trends for the new year, or designing with user experience in mind.

In Awwwards you can scan through hundreds of website designs that have been voted favorites by users. Check out their blog too, for interviews with designers.

To be honest, I did immediately switch the background color on this site from red to white, as it prompts you on this site. But truly, this site has some great articles, such as how to design search for your mobile site, or this article on WordPress’s recent Gutenberg release.

Before this article, I had no idea about AirBnB’s guides to designing with React and JavaScript, or their design blog. It is well worth your time to check this out, as they walk you through some of their own design choices for their website, modeling how you can consider the best choices for your own site.

No worries, this site is not Wix specific—on their blog you can find design trends, as well as tips and tricks.

Ok, so this name is a bit deceiving. It is not a gallery of worst sites, but instead design ideas to blow your mind. Check out their article on font pairings or their article on how to create and display WordPress custom post types.
